    • Come early for a Rector's Forum at 9:15am in the Parish Hall; Fr. Benji will be excited to see you there, fresh off his paternity leave.
    • This is the last Children's Catechesis and the approximate end-date for Life Groups—at Christ Church we take a hiatus on these things during the summer
    • After the 10:30am service we will have a whole roast hog and all church potluck on the back lawn:
        • Sign up below to help with food and set-up/tear-down
        • You can bring food down to Fellowship Hall (lower level)
        • Bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for yourself and friends!
        • We ask for a suggested donation of $5/individual or $20/family to help defray the cost of the roast hog. There will be a basket, or you can put it with a note in the offering plate.

What is Pentecost? The Day of Pentecost is a special feast in the Christian calendar—it marks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the beginning of the Church. To celebrate we are roasting a whole hog and having an all church potluck following the 10:30am service. "This pivotal moment in Christian history is the fulfillment of Christ’s promise to send a helper, a comforter, who would empower and guide his followers after his Ascension into heaven. The descent of the Holy Spirit transformed the lives of the followers of Jesus, emboldened them to preach the Gospel, and marked the beginning of the Christian mission in the world."
