We love life and "doing life together" here in our city. And there's a lot going on in Winston. Here's a short list of some of the stuff the people in our church are in to around town. Let us know if you'd like to get involved or if there's anything you'd like to add to the list.

Race for the Cure: One in eight women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime and each year members of our church participate in the Race for the Cure. The race helps fund the Triad North Carolina affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, enabling it to fund vital breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in our own community and support the national search for a cure. 2nd Harvest Food Bank: All Christians are called to help the poor and those in need. One way we live this out at Christ Church is through partnership with 2nd Harvest Food Bank. Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina serves 18 counties across Northwest North Carolina and reaches 100,000 different people through our partner agencies. Both in our periodic "Can Hunger" food drives and through volunteer work, Christ Church seeks to help 2nd Harvest provide food for those in need in our own area.
