The Brotherhood of G.K. Chesterton

Men of Christ Church! The Brotherhood of G. K .Chesterton is meeting on Saturday, December 13th at 12:00pm. This will be at the Sharpe home (241 Lucerne Ln, 27104). Mark will be leading our teaching. Bring your favorite appetizer and beverage. 

As a brotherhood of Christian men, we long to grow together in godly virtue and increase in joyful holiness; we desire to be men with chests filled with God’s truth. We will look to G.K. Chesterton as a guide and model. And we need models and fraternity because the way of Christ is more than we can bear alone. As Chesterton wrote, “The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting. It has been found difficult; and left untried.” Let us, therefore, not leave the ideal untried, but rather let us “stir up one another to love and good works” (Heb 10:24).
