Why do we celebrate Christ’s Ascension? As Fr. Ben Sharpe writes, “If we surrender or ignore the biblical teaching that Jesus ascended into heaven in the body in which he suffered, died, and was raised to life, again – we surrender the truth that is our very source of boldness, hope and joy. The ascension of Jesus Christ is very Good News indeed.”
