He Sees Me | Colossians Series 3

In Memoriam, Fr. Dave. Truly I have seen Him who looks after me. (Gen. 16)

In God’s delay, despite my prayers,
I suffer. And do I stray? Sometimes.
And I am faithful sometimes.
Do you hear our prayers?

Do you hear Lord? Do you see?
At times I think it so, at times I do not.
My pillow knows my tears, yet you speak not.
My eyes lose light, and I wonder if you see?

And yet, you are a God of seeing. You tend to me,
Look after me. You call when I am lost,
You hound me, rod and staff, when I am lost.
You call by name your child, even me.

All glory be to steadfast hope in Christ.
All suffering be an ode to thee, O Christ.
