Men's Ministry
At Christ Church, our men's ministry takes place in three different venues:
Men's Night Out, the Brotherhood of G.K. Chesterton, and Quads

Men's Night Out
On the final Sunday of the month, the men of Christ Church gather at Joymongers Barrel Hall in West End at 8pm for a time of fellowship over adult beverages. All men ages 21 and up are welcome to join.

The Brotherhood of G.K. Chesterton
The Christ Church Brotherhood meets once a quarter on Saturdays near the Ember Days, and is geared towards all men of the parish. Under the patronage of G.K. Chesterton, this ministry seeks to build men up in the pursuit of holiness and godly virtue. These gatherings consist of food, prayer, and teaching, and fellowship - often involving pipes. The Brotherhood works in tandem with the smaller groups of men (see Quads below), though not all men in the brotherhood will be part of these smaller groups.
Christ Church Quads
“Quads” are small groupings of four men that meet monthly for brotherhood and accountability, following a common rule of life. These meetings are intended to be unique spaces for openness and honesty as Christian men in striving against the world, the flesh and the devil. This is a venue for sharing our struggles in pursuing holiness and godly virtue, men helping you on your journey to becoming a living saint, to “be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.” (Leviticus 19:2)
The Rule of Life that Quads members sign onto is both diagnostic and corrective in our following Christ. Where as Christ himself is our life and salvation, the rule of life helps show us where our hearts are tempted towards idolatry. It also helps us to learn self mastery by pointing our hearts back towards Christ.
At the first meeting, someone is appointed as point person, and each person is paired with an “Anchor” who checks in weekly for accountability and support.
You can see the meeting schedule and Rule of Life below. Please let us know if you are interested in joining a Quad (this may take time as we wait for other men to sign up as well). Or, if you already have three other men who are willing to start a Quad, please let us know by filling out the same form.
