Tithe Poem
A Single Sacrifice | Hebrews 10
There is a hope in darkness hid.
No count of gold nor holy act
Nor heartfelt wish can make a bid
For earning it. A Light exact
And piercing enters through the dark.
It bids you bring your everything
And lay it forth, poured out and stark
Like winter storms. A Ghost takes wing
And summons you to kneel and rise.
Behold, a Face like yours shines forth—
The Face you sought to full despise
Still offers hope surpassing worth.
You have no hope apart from He,
And yet He deigns to grant it thee.
