Join us for a conversation led by Ellen Harper on CS Lewis’s book, Till We Have Faces.

Like That Hideous Strength, Till We Have Faces is another CS Lewis book that seems very different from Narnia.  The story is based on the Greek myth of Cupid and Psyche, and it was Clive Staples’ last and favorite book that he ever wrote.  As it was written for adults, the Christian themes are much more mature than “the lion is Jesus.”  Lewis explores distorted love, jealously, and bitterness that can stem from religion.
