Worship and the Family of God

"But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth."

2 Thessalonians 2:13

Pursue the formation       of your family.

Our life in Christ grows as God draws us in to living according the answer to three key questions.

What does it look like to be a Christian?

After our second service each Sunday, we host a time of hospitality where the church can get together, enjoy snacks and drinks, and watch as our kids run around and develop meaningful relationships with one another

What does it mean to be a Christian?

We regularly host "family gatherings" throughout the month which can include park visits, local field trips, picnics, trips to the YMCA, splash pad adventures and much more for your family to connect with others.

What does it mean for me to be a Christian?

One of the best ways to get connected at Christ Church is to participate in the life of our church. We have multiple fellowship events throughout the year and we would love to have you and your family join us at these events.

Catechesis

We offer catechesis programs for all of our children that are designed to support the catechesis that is happening in our parents home with each program emphasizing a different question that relates to our Christian formation.

Discipleship

As parents, we are discipled by the teaching of Scripture in church, by the experience and wisdom of other families, and by older mentors in the faith. At Christ Church, this is facilitated by our Family Ministry Night.

Resources

The parenting journey can be tough and there is a plethora of information out there both good and bad. We want to develop a centralized resource place where families can receive help and wisdom as they seek to encourage formation in their home.
