Women's Prayer Partners
Purpose: Our mission in the Christ Church Women's Ministry is to deepen our relationship with Christ and one another as we grow in biblical truth. One way we hope this will happen is through small groups of women who meet for prayer and honest, spiritually focused conversation while encouraging each other toward deeper discipleship.
Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." Matthew 18:20 - Our Lord is present with us in a special way when we are gathered together in prayer.
Group Members: Our women's prayer partnerships start with two or three members. If they choose to grow to four people, then it may be a good idea to split into two groups. Some groups choose to incorporate other focuses, such as a shared book study, mentorship, common interests, etc.
Meetings: We recommend that you meet with your prayer partner(s) at least once monthly and touch base weekly as needed. Groups may decide amongst themselves the times and locations of their meetings. Confidentiality should be respected concerning what is shared within the group.
